We?re searching for a motivated and experienced individual to step into a leadership role with our team. *MUST BE LIVING IN VICTORIA. *This is a year-round position?not seasonal?offering stability, growth, and the chance to make a real impact. *What We?re Looking For:* * Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience * Strong understanding of labour and food cost management * Ability to monitor and manage stock levels efficiently * Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise 10?20 staff at a time * Comfortable working alongside your team on the floor at all times * Solid cash handling knowledge * A true team player with strong work ethic and reliability *What We Offer:* * Annual salary: *$38,000 ? $42,000* * *Tips on top of salary* * *Benefits after 3 months* * A supportive, high-energy work environment * Opportunity for advancement If you?re ready to lead by example, stay hands-on, and be part of a dedicated team in a busy restaurant setting, we want to hear from you *Responsibilities* * Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling. * Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer service. * Manage employee orientation, training, and development to ensure team members are knowledgeable about products, policies, and procedures. * Oversee staffing schedules, assign duties, and ensure adequate coverage during shifts. * Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience. * Maintain accurate records related to payroll, bookkeeping, sales transactions, and inventory management. * Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales processing and inventory updates while ensuring pricing accuracy. * Monitor inventory levels, assist with merchandising strategies, and coordinate stock replenishment efforts. * Implement marketing initiatives to promote store promotions and increase sales performance. * Enforce store policies related to safety, cleanliness, and organizational standards to create a welcoming environment. *Experience* * Proven supervisory or assistant manager experience within the restaurant industry * Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across shifts. * Excellent communication skills; * Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control software, * Demonstrated ability in employee orientation, training & development, and recruiting processes. * Knowledge of retail sales techniques including upselling and merchandising strategies. * Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards. * Organizational skills with a focus on time management and multitasking during busy shifts.
