Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Turkey breeding. Turkey farming. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Wet/damp. Cold/refrigerated. Poultry and egg production. All weather conditions. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Perform livestock feeding. Feed and tend animals. Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Equipment and machinery experience: Egg gathering system. Feeding and watering system.
