THE ROLEUnder the direction of the Community Recreation Manager, the Administrative Assistant - Fitness, Sports and Recreation assists with the organization of administration support for the Fitness, Sports and Recreation (FS&R) facility. They key in, edits, proofreads and finalizes correspondence, reports, statements, invoices, forms, presentations or other documents. They provide reception services and general information to clients. The Administrative Assistant - Fitness, Sports and Recreation receives, secures, and deposits cash. They perform bookkeeping tasks such as preparing and tracking invoices, bank deposits, and processes public accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Recreation Management or a related field AND some years of experience in business administration, or a related field.

In providing customer service
In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail, and Internet browsing
