Accounting assistant

Flat Out Transportation Services is seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual to perform a variety of accounting functions by following prescribed policies and procedures, applying generally accepted accounting principles/guidelines, and best practices on a part-time basis. *Key Responsibilities* * Prepare customer invoices and organize supporting load documentation. * Enter vendor invoices, receipts, and expenses into the accounting system. * Track accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Follow up on outstanding invoices and missing paperwork. * Maintain organized financial records for trucks, drivers, loads, and vendors. * Verify that required documentation is received and properly filed. * Assist with data entry, reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting. * Communicate professionally with customers, brokers, drivers,...
