Join our team and help shape the future of innovative image processing solutions?we look forward to your application! *Accountant* *KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBLITIES * *Accounts Payable * · Process accounts payable by matching invoices to purchase orders and create approval workflows. Post invoices to correct cost centers and G/L accounts · Review and process employee expense reports · Prepare bi-weekly payments for the vendors in multi-currency (Wire, ACH, Credit Card and Cheques) · Reconcile vendor accounts *Accounts Receivable * · Responsible for the dunning process for North America · Process credit card payments from the customers · Support Inside Sales team with credit limit escalation process and assessment · Reconcile customer accounts *Treasury* · Daily postings of bank entries · Reconcile corporate credit cards and bank accounts on a timely basis *Reporting and General Tasks* · Perform monthly general ledger entries, reconciliations and roll forward schedules · Support the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, ensuring assigned deliverables are completed accurately and within established timelines · Monthly intercompany billing and reconciliation · Fixed asset management including asset counts · Monthly GST and PST return for Canada. Compile sales and use tax data for US. · Administration of corporate group benefits · Process payroll for Canadian and US entities · Preparation of work instructions, forms and documentation of finance processes · Perform ad-hoc analysis, reports and projects as required · Other duties as assigned by the Manager Finance *Qualifications * · Enrolled in a CPA program and/or bachelor?s degree in finance · Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance · Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot & V-lookups) · Experience with ERP system · Previous experience in manufacturing industry can be an asset · A strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills · Strong communication skills · A team player and ability to work in a collaborative environment globally. · Experience working within multi-entity and multi-currency organization will be an asset *Benefits:* · Competitive renumeration · Bonus based on company performance · RRSP Match · Dental Care, Disability Insurance, Extended Health Care, Life Insurance and Employee Assistance Program. 100% premium paid by the employer. · 27 Paid Time Off Days plus 7 days of Sick Time · Professional development opportunities in a cross functional multinational organization · Flexible Working Hours · Onsite Gym Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Burnaby, BC V5G 4X8
