Job description
*Join Our Team* Quality Classrooms is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused *Account Manager - West* to help schools and educational organizations access the products and solutions they need to create exceptional learning environments. In this role, you'll manage and grow customer relationships across Western Canada, drive new business opportunities, and guide customers through the sales process from initial inquiry to successful delivery. You'll work closely with Marketing, Product & Merchandising, Customer Care, and Operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience while achieving territory growth objectives. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, this position has no direct reports. *What you?ll do* *Grow and Manage Your Territory* * Achieve territory revenue and growth targets. * Develop, retain, and expand relationships with key accounts. * Identify new business opportunities and generate demand within your territory. * Proactively prospect through phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person outreach. *Build Strong Customer Relationships* * Serve as a trusted partner to educators, administrators, and procurement decision-makers. * Understand customer needs and recommend solutions that align with their goals and budgets. * Deliver a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle. *Manage Sales Opportunities* * Maintain an active and accurate sales pipeline using CRM tools. * Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and leads. * Schedule follow-ups, track opportunities, and provide reliable sales forecasts. * Prepare professional quotes, proposals, and product recommendations. *Collaborate Across Teams* * Partner with Marketing, Product & Merchandising, Customer Care, and Operations to support customer success. * Coordinate order flow, delivery expectations, and issue resolution. * Support trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generate new business opportunities. * Identify and escalate tender opportunities for evaluation and assignment. *What you?ll bring* * 2-4 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or another customer-facing role. * Experience using a CRM to manage customer relationships and sales opportunities. * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. * Experience preparing quotes, proposals, or customer solutions. * Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. * Comfortable making outbound calls and proactively pursuing new business opportunities. * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory. *Nice to have* * Post-secondary education in business, marketing, education, or a related field. * Experience selling to K-12 schools, educational organizations, or the public sector. * Knowledge of procurement, tenders, or education purchasing processes. * Experience attending conferences, trade shows, or networking events. * B2B sales and cold-calling experience. *About Quality Classrooms* Quality Classrooms supports learning environments by delivering high?quality products, services, and solutions to educational organizations.
