Enter work orders utilizing the Maintenance Computer ProgramGather samples from loaded tank cars or trucks with each load/unloadGather samples from the meal, pellets and/or crude oil cars loadedTroubleshoot minor problems as requiredMaintain a safe and sanitary atmosphere with a high regard for environmental and food safety impacts of the operationCompletes master sanitation schedule checklists and tasksAttend various mandatory safety and department meetingsCommunicate in a courteous and positive manner to accomplish duties effectively, working as a team with all involvedAssist other crush, refinery and plant personnel as needed, and will perform any other duty as requestedRequired QualificationsMust be legally entitled to work for Cargill in CanadaMust be 18 years or olderMust have a high school diploma or equivalentMust be willing and able to work 12 hr shifts, including nights, overtime, weekends, holidays, and additional hours beyond regularly scheduled shift to cover vacanciesMust be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, etc (working above 4 feet), and to be comfortable working at heights (working on top of railcars, able to work on highly elevated platforms)Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lift up to 50lbs regularly, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishMust be computer literate including being able to enter and retrieve dataWorking knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.Must have demonstrated high performance (work performance, attendance record, safety record.)Preferred QualificationsMobile equipment experienceExperience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Prior experience in production related workConsidered candidates will receive a phone call from a (204) area code.
