Upholsterer

*Overview* JProStitch International is looking for a skilled and reliable *Upholsterer* to join our growing team in Sudbury. We specialize in custom upholstery, boat tops, cushions, commercial upholstery, vinyl flooring, awnings, tarps, and custom fabric products. *Job Duties & Responsibilities* * Measure, cut, sew, and install upholstery materials including vinyl, canvas, Sunbrella and other fabrics. * Remove and replace existing upholstery, foam, and coverings. * Cut and shape foam for seats, cushions, benches, and other custom projects. * Operate industrial sewing machines and other upholstery equipment. * Sew straight, curved, and detailed seams according to patterns and specifications. * Read and follow patterns, measurements, work orders, and production instructions. * Install snaps, zippers, Velcro, fasteners, trim, and other hardware. * Stretch and secure upholstery materials to achieve a clean, professional finish. * Work on boat seats, boat tops, cushions, patio furniture, commercial projects, and custom upholstery jobs. * Repair and modify existing upholstery and fabric products. * Inspect completed work to ensure quality, proper fit, and attention to detail. * Maintain an organized and clean work area. * Properly care for and maintain sewing machines, cutting tools, and other shop equipment. * Work efficiently to meet production schedules and customer deadlines. * Work independently as well as part of a team. * Follow company safety procedures and workplace policies. * Perform other related duties as required. *Qualifications* * Previous upholstery or sewing experience is an asset. * Experience with industrial sewing machines is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. * Ability to read measurements and follow patterns and instructions. * Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. * Ability to work with different types of fabrics, vinyl, foam, and other materials. * Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with others. * Willingness to learn new techniques and products. *What We Offer* * Full-time employment * Competitive wages based on experience * Stable, year-round work * Opportunity to work on a wide variety of custom projects * Friendly, hands-on work environment * Opportunity to develop and expand upholstery and sewing skills Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week Benefits: * On-site parking Work Location: In person
