*Prime Tiling* is looking for an experienced and reliable *Tile Installer* to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are looking for skilled professionals with strong hands-on experience in tile installation who take pride in quality workmanship and are interested in long-term employment and professional growth. *Position Details* * *Position:* Tile Installer * *Company:* Prime Tiling * *Employment Type:* Full-time, Permanent * *Term:* Minimum 1 year, with ongoing work available * *Pay:* *$30?$50 per hour*, depending on experience, qualifications and skill level * *Work Availability:* Consistent, year-round workload *Requirements* * Minimum *2 years of continuous professional tile installation experience in Canada* * Strong knowledge and practical experience with different tile installation methods and materials * Candidates must clearly describe their previous tile installation experience, including the types of projects completed: * Commercial projects * High-rise buildings * Low-rise residential/commercial projects * Private residential projects * Experience installing *large-format and specialty tiles* is strongly preferred * Candidates should be able to identify the *largest tile size and thickness they have successfully installed*, for example: * 12" × 24" * 48" × 48" * 60" × 120" * Tile thickness of 6 mm, 12 mm or other * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Reliable, punctual and professional * *Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required* * Ability to safely handle, transport and install large-format tiles * Willingness to learn new techniques, develop skills and take on more advanced work is considered an asset *Key Responsibilities* * Prepare surfaces for tile installation * Measure, plan and lay out tile installations accurately * Install ceramic, porcelain and large-format tiles * Cut and fit tiles around corners, fixtures, openings and other structures * Apply appropriate adhesives, membranes, grout and waterproofing systems * Ensure proper alignment, spacing, level and finish * Complete work according to project specifications and quality standards * Maintain a clean and safe work area * Follow workplace health and safety requirements * Work efficiently to meet project schedules and deadlines *What We Offer* * *$30?$50/hour*, based on qualifications and experience * *Stable, year-round work* * Full-time, permanent employment * Long-term opportunity with a growing company * Opportunities to develop skills and take on more advanced projects * Professional and supportive work environment * Consistent workload throughout the year *How to Apply* Please submit your resume and include a brief description of your tile installation experience, specifically: * *Years of tile installation experience in Canada* * *Types of projects completed* (commercial, high-rise, low-rise, residential/private) * *Largest tile size you have installed* * *Maximum tile thickness you have installed* * Experience with *large-format tiles* * Whether you have a *vehicle and valid driver's licence* * Any additional certifications, specialized skills or relevant experience *Prime Tiling* is committed to finding experienced professionals who are looking for stable, long-term employment and opportunities to grow with the company.
