Supply chain supervisor

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Warehouse. Tasks: Oversee operational logistics of the organization. Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Conduct performance reviews. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents. Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards. Establish delivery schedules. Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments. Keep track of shipments. Receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials. Pack, weigh and stack bound and finished products on pallet for shipment. Supervision: 5-10 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure.
