Public works maintenance equipment operators supervisor

The Town of Lampman is now accepting applications for the full-time position of Public Works/Recreation Working Foreman. Duties include, but are not limited to:Oversight of the Public Works Department, Utilities Systems which includes water and sewer maintenance, and Recreation FacilitiesSupervising and coordinating work for employees, managing day to day crew operation for the townOperating and maintaining equipmentLawn care maintenance duties such as mowing and edging, street and sidewalk maintenance, equipment maintenance.Recreation Duties include oversight of Rink, Pool, Campground and Ball Diamond Start up, Maintenance, daily checks and shut down of facilities with the assistance of the staff; as well as any other duties assigned by the Administrator or Council.Applicant must be:Mechanically inclined, well organized and be able to delegate dutiesBe able to lift over 50lbsMust be in possession of a valid Class 5 Drivers License and be able to provide a current drivers abstract as well as a current Criminal Record checkProof of a valid driverss license and drivers abstract must be provided with resumePass a Drug and Alcohol TestMust have good communication and record keeping skills, be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervisedQualifications and Requirements include:Experience in machinery operation and maintenanceWater and Wastewater Treatment and Collection Class I or ability to obtainValid First Aid/CPR, H2S, Confined Space, Ground Disturbance or any other Safety Certification is a valuable asset, power mobile equipment, pool, refrigeration or ice making courses or willing to obtainThe Town of Lampman offers several benefits including a pension plan, group benefits plan, and a competitive salary range.Forward applications to:Town of Lampman, PO Box 70, Lampman, SK S0C 0G0 Email to: lampman@sasktel.net
