Poultry farm worker

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Livestock. Poultry and egg production. All weather conditions. Tasks: Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Write daily basic progress reports. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops.
