*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Family Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services within a dynamic healthcare setting. *Family Physician / General Practitioner (Multiple Openings)* *Organization:* KWIC Walk-In Clinic and Family Practice *Vacancies:* 2 positions available *Position Type:* Permanent, Full-time *Hours:* 1,820 to 2,080 hours per year (Flexible scheduling) *Start Date:* As soon as possible *Work Arrangement:* 100% On-site (No remote work for initial three months) *Compensation & Benefits* * *Base Compensation:* Fee for service. * *Payment Models:* Fee-for-service or salary options available (standard cut for the employer which is 20%) * *Incentives & Perks:* Discretionary performance bonus and free on-site parking. *Clinic Locations* Practice across modern private clinical settings: * *KWIC Walk-In Clinic:* Units 201 & 202 ? 5 Manitou Drive, Kitchener, ON N2C 2J6 * *Spruce Medical:* Suite 106 ? 318 Spruce Street, Waterloo, ON N2L 2E9 *Key Responsibilities* * *Clinical Assessment:* Review patient histories, examine physical health conditions, diagnose acute and chronic illnesses, and manage ongoing medical issues. * *Diagnostics & Treatment:* Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and specialized diagnostic procedures; prescribe and administer evidence-based medications and therapies. * *Preventive Care:* Administer immunizations and routine screenings, providing proactive health maintenance counseling. * *Patient Management:* Coordinate comprehensive primary patient care, collaborating closely with allied health professionals and medical specialists. * *Patient Counseling:* Deliver health, wellness, and lifestyle guidance to patients and their families. *Qualifications & Requirements* * *Education:* Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized medical school. * *Licensure & Credentials:* * College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) certification. * Valid license to practice medicine issued by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) or equivalent provincial/territorial regulatory authority. * Eligibility for Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) or equivalent professional liability insurance. * *Experience:* Clinical practice experience is an asset; new graduates are welcome to apply. * *Language:* Fluent in English (written and verbal). *Core Competencies & Working Conditions* * *Environment:* Fast-paced clinical environment requiring strong diagnostic precision, organization, and a balanced mix of sitting, standing, and walking. * *Suitability:* High ethical standards, patient-centered focus, strong interpersonal communication, adaptability, and collaborative teamwork. *Eligibility & How to Apply* This posting is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, temporary residents, and international candidates with or without an existing Canadian work permit.
