Pharmacy assistant

*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the pharmacy staff in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. You will be responsible for assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Maintain an organized inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and medications, ensuring proper storage conditions. * Communicate effectively with patients regarding their prescriptions and answer any inquiries they may have. * Process prescription orders and manage patient records while adhering to confidentiality regulations. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care within a hospital or clinical setting. * Stay updated on medical terminology and pharmacy practices to enhance service delivery. *Skills* * 3-5 years previous experience as a Pharmacy assisstantan working with Fillware sis required * Strong patient care skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding patient needs. * Knowledge of medication administration protocols to ensure safe handling of pharmaceuticals.
