This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment while making a meaningful difference in people's health and well-being. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing to ensure accuracy and safety. * Manage inventory by stock checking, organizing supplies, and notifying the team of low stock levels. * Provide excellent patient care by answering basic questions about medications and guiding patients on pharmacy services. * Maintain precise medical terminology records and documentation for prescriptions and patient interactions. * Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. * Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace to uphold hygiene standards. * Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service, supporting patient needs efficiently and professionally. *Experience* *1. \*\*Minimum 2 years of Canadian community pharmacy experience is mandatory.\*\* Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.* *2. \*\*Must currently reside in Ottawa or the immediate surrounding area.\*\* This position is intended for local candidates only, and \*\*relocation candidates will not be considered\*\*.* *3. Previous experience working in a busy community pharmacy environment is strongly preferred.* *4. Experience with \*\*Kroll Pharmacy Management System\*\* is considered a strong asset.* *5. Strong communication, customer-service, and organizational skills.* *6. Ability to work efficiently and accurately while managing multiple responsibilities in a pharmacy setting.* *7. Reliable, professional, punctual, and comfortable working collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other pharmacy team members.* This role is paid, offering valuable professional experience within a supportive healthcare environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes through teamwork and excellence.
