Pastry cook

Sweet Obsession, a well-established patisserie with over 20 years in Kitsilano, is seeking a *Pastry Cook (BOH)* to join our production team. We are a growing company committed to quality, consistency, and being part of our customers? celebrations. Our offerings include 20+ fresh cakes daily, a rotating selection of pastries and baked goods, and beverages. *Responsibilities:* * Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, and desserts according to company standards * Assist with daily production and prep * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen * Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines * Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment *Qualifications:* * Certificate from a pastry program (minimum 6 months) * Valid FoodSafe certification * Previous pastry or baking experience required * Strong attention to detail and time management * Ability to work early mornings, weekdays, and/or weekends * Reliable, organized, and team-oriented Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Paid time off Experience: * baking: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
