Machinist

We are a Saskatchewan-owned company specializing in hydraulic cylinder manufacturing, repair, and custom machining. Our products are designed for use in the mining, utilities, and oil & gas industries and are built to perform in harsh operating conditions. Duties and Responsibilities Interpret engineering drawings and sketches Take precise measurements using precision measuring instruments Plan and execute machining tasks to meet production deadlines Monitor production and make adjustments as required Calculate dimensions, tapers, indices, and other data using shop formulas Operate CNC and manual machining equipment Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work collaboratively with team members to support production goals Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures Skills and Abilities Strong time management and organizational skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities High attention to detail, accuracy, and safety Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment Ability to identify and prevent quality control issues Qualifications: Journeyman Machinist with 2 to 3 years of experience Valid drivers licence
