*Overview* Mississauga Physio & Wellness Clinic is looking for a professional, client-focused *Esthetician* to join our wellness clinic team. The successful candidate will provide professional esthetic and skincare services in a clean, welcoming and professional environment while maintaining high standards of client care, hygiene and safety. *Responsibilities* * Provide professional esthetic and skincare services within your training and qualifications * Perform client consultations and recommend appropriate services and products * Maintain a professional and welcoming experience for every client * Follow proper sanitation, hygiene and infection-prevention procedures * Clean, disinfect and maintain equipment and treatment areas according to applicable requirements and manufacturer instructions * Maintain accurate client and service records as required * Follow clinic policies, procedures and health and safety requirements * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment room and work area * Provide information to clients about appropriate aftercare * Communicate professionally with clients and other clinic team members * Support the clinic's wellness and promotional activities when appropriate *Qualifications* * Esthetics education, certification or equivalent relevant training * Previous experience in esthetics, skincare or a related setting is required * Knowledge of professional sanitation and hygiene practices * Strong customer-service and communication skills * Professional, reliable and respectful approach to client care * Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary clinic team * Willingness to follow clinic policies and applicable health and safety requirements *Canadian work experience is required.* Social Media & Marketing The successful candidate may also have opportunities to participate in the clinic's social media and marketing activities, such as: * Creating or assisting with short-form social media content * Demonstrating skincare or esthetic services for educational/promotional content * Participating in clinic photos or videos *only with appropriate consent* * Supporting professional promotional initiatives Social media participation will be discussed with candidates as part of the role and is not based on personal appearance or any protected characteristic.
