Early Childhood Educator

Broadview Licensed Daycare is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dependable Full-Time Early Childhood Educator to join our team! We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, enjoys being part of a team, and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow through play. Responsibilities The successful candidate will: - Provide warm, responsive and nurturing care to children - Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities based on children's interests, abilities and stages of development - Follow a play based curriculum and encourage learning through exploration and hands-on experiences - Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and coworkers - Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development - Maintain active supervision of children at all times - Follow all Saskatchewan childcare licensing regulations, policies and procedures - Maintain proper documentation and records as required - Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, rest times and transitions - Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming classroom environment - Communicate professionally with parents and team members - Participate in staff meetings, professional development and centre activities - Work cooperatively with the entire daycare team to provide consistent, high-quality care Qualifications - ECE level 1 certification or willing to obtain - Current First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain - Experience working with young children is an asset - Knowledge of child development and play-based learning - Reliable, responsible and dependable - Positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with children - Current Criminal Record check and vulnerable sector check - Ability to meet all Saskatchewan licensing requirements for employment in a regulated child care centre
