Job description
Part-time Certified/Licensed Dental Assistant needed for a well-established oral surgery specialty practice. You will be joining a team committed to providing exceptional service and safe surgical care. The practice is independent and not partnered with dental service organizations. New graduates are welcome to apply and experience is not required. Duties: * Assisting during surgery (extractions, dental implants, hard and soft tissue grafts, PRF) * Taking digital radiographs (including panorex and cone beam CT) * Operatory set up/cleaning * Sterilization * Anesthesia monitoring and recovery (we will provide IV sedation and anesthesia training/certification if needed) * Seating patients and discharging them * Taking impressions (digital and PVS) * Supplies/medication tracking and ordering * Equipment maintenance following manufacturer guidelines * Occasional cross coverage of reception may be required The successful candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English, competent using dental software, and motivated to learn in our team-based culture and provide exceptional patient care. Required days of work include Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (no weekend/evening work). Our office is located in Central Lonsdale in the City of North Vancouver.
