A passion for excellent customer service combined with strong organizational skills will help you succeed in this lively retail environment. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, providing product information when needed. * Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments. * Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly merchandised and stocked. * Upsell products by suggesting complementary items or promotions to enhance the customer?s shopping experience. * Handle customer inquiries in person with professionalism and clear communication skills. * Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick and efficient service. * Follow all store policies regarding cash handling, safety procedures, and cleanliness standards. *Skills* * Previous retail sales or cashiering experience * Strong communication skills in English * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. * Knowledge of merchandising techniques and POS systems is advantageous. * Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, approachable demeanor. * Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. * Good organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks effectively.
