Job description
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. Odours. Wet/damp. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Tasks: Diagnose livestock health issues. Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment. Monitoring animal health. Work with honey bees. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Maintain work records and logs. Write daily basic progress reports. Operate forklift. Interac with bees based on your knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology and caste system. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Detect bee diseases . Harvest, extract and package honey and beeswax. Manage bee colonies for the production of honey and pollination purposes. . Treat bees with antibiotics . Automated honey extractor. Apiary management. Harvesting honey. Honey farm. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Drive manual transmission vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently.
