Job description
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. All weather conditions. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Remote location. Tasks: Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Work with honey bees. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Detect bee diseases . Extract honey manually. Harvest, extract and package honey and beeswax. Manage bee colonies for the production of honey and pollination purposes. . Oversee the honey extraction. Treat bees with antibiotics . Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck. Forklift. Hand tools. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail.
